Wrap Around Care

At Montgomery CiW School we understand the difficulties facing parents who are trying to juggle work commitments with their child's schooling and childcare. As such, we feel it important to offer a wrap around care provision to support families as much as possible.

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club runs each morning from 7.45am to the start of the school day.  

Children are provided with a healthy breakfast including a variety of cereal options or toast, along with a glass of fresh juice or milk.  We have a number of children with various allergies so also provide gluten free options.

Following breakfast, children have a range of toys to play with, activities to be involved in or group games to play.

Our Breakfast Club is led by two experienced members of our support team.

Our Breakfast Club can be booked by emailing us on morningclub@montgomery.powys.sch.uk Please note there is a small charge of £2.00 per day.  Concessions are available for children in receipt of means tested free school meals.

After School Club

Our After School Club runs each day until 5.25pm.

Children are provided with a substantial healthy snack. Again, all allergies are catered for.

Following their healthy snack, children are offered a wide range of activities and games to play with.  The After School Club leaders ask the children for ideas to ensure the activities are pupil directed.  Some examples are inviting Montgomery Fire brigade in to show the children around the fire engine, making scarecrows for the annual scarecrow competition and playing games such as bounce cup ball.
